In 2001 I sailed down the California coast with my father – something we did when I was 13 years old and thought we should do again. We stayed in Morro Bay for a couple of weeks, loving the birdlife, beautiful scenery, and good weather.
Morro Rock is an amazing photographic subject that I photographed many times from all angles. This is one of my favorite shots, with sailboats moored in the bay in the foreground and the rock in the background.
