I took this photo on my deck. The flowers are pink evening primrose that I bought at a university plant sale the year before. I planted them in a half barrel on the deck, along with several other native and drought tolerant ground cover plants. My plan is to grow them there, where they’re protected from deer, rabbits, and other wildlife, until they have spread enough to transplant some into our yard. We’re trying to cultivate plants that are drought tolerant, wildlife friendly, and fit in well with the natural landscape in our area.

Ladybug on Poison Hemlock with White Flowers
Poison Hemlock, which looks a lot like Queen Anne’s Lace, grows rampant throughout our neighborhood. We’re working on eradicating it from our yard. But before I knew that’s what it was, I spent an afternoon photographing lady bugs on the plants on a beautiful summer day.
This photo is available on a clock face, cell phone case, hardcover notebook, and many other products at Redbubble.
Pixel Mountain Art on Redbubble
I love to photograph things – all sorts of things, ranging from beautiful sunsets to serene landscapes, from wild animals I see on my hikes to the cats in my household, from reflections in ponds to interesting patterns made by shadows on the sidewalk. Every day, everywhere I go, I see things that need to be captured to remember them.
I want to share all of this with everyone I know, and even better, with anyone else who appreciates the same visions. So now I’m making the photographs I capture available to everyone by selling them on Redbubble as products that you can use in your home, on shirts and other clothing, as cases for your tech gadgets, or as gifts to send to friends and relatives. Most are also available as prints and posters as well.
Please check out my products and prints available on Redbubble. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy capturing them!
